Tubes are available with a gold conventional tube stopper or a red/gray Hemogard™ tube closure that prevents human contact with blood on the stopper or tube rim. Evacuated tubes simplify blood collection by allowing you to change tubes while the needle and plastic holder remain in place on the patient's arm.
